Most of the time, my commute to work and back is quite pleasant. However, today was an exception. While crossing the converted railroad bridge across the American River, a tricky proposition at best because of all the pedestrians, six "Lance Armstrong wannabes" went whizzing past me. I have one of the best biking commutes anyone could imagine. Total length is 10 miles each way. I begin in Citrus Heights, near Sunrise and Antelope, cross Sunrise Blvd. to residential streets to Madera Park, on to Old Auburn, and then pick up Fair Oaks Blvd. all the way to The Village (F.O. that is).
